In Person Sessions

If you prefer face-to-face meetings, Insight Youth kindly let me use premises in Kelso and Tweedbank, Galashiels. These locations offer comfortable and private spaces with accessible parking.

Each session is designed for you or your loved one to share your innermost thoughts and address any concerns. My role is not to provide advice but to facilitate self- understanding and help identify areas for change and growth. I will pose questions to encourage thoughtful reflection and offer exercises to challenge existing thought processes and explore alternatives.

Meeting in person has its benefits, as it allows us to share the energy created during the session. The use of body language and physical presence enable a strong connection, potentially accelerating learning and development. This level of engagement is particularly effective for fostering change and progression.

Walking & Talking

If meeting in person is preferred but an outdoor setting is desired over an office environment, a walk can be arranged. This combines the benefits of being in nature with counselling. This option is available in the spring and summer months; appropriate footwear is recommended. The local area is ideal for this activity, promoting wellbeing through exposure to fresh air and blue skies.

Telephone Sessions

Telephone sessions are also available. This option is beneficial if you cannot reach the offices or find it more convenient. It is advised to find a private place in your home or car where the conversation can take place without interruption.
